Administrator Guide: Overview
InnerpriseSearch is an ASP (Application Service Provider) allowing
you to add a search to your site without installing a thing. The
software runs from our server farm and we maintain it. Your search engine
is always up-to-date with bug fixes and new features.
With the InnerpriseSearch service, you can not only crawl and index your own
site, but you can crawl and index any other Web sites. You are not
restricted to creating a search of only your site. This ability is useful
if you would like to provide a search engine that searches other sites that are
related to your site. For example, if you have an auto racing site you
might want to provide your visitors the ability to index all auto racing sites.
