Administrator Guide: Maintenance
There are two ways to provide the collection with URLs to begin crawling
from. One of the ways is to add them to the Starting URLs screen. These URLs
are automatically added to the Todo list when the Todo list is empty and
crawling has been initiated. This feature is useful if you always need to start
crawling from the same location.
URL Maintenance
This allows you to add or remove URLs.
Add URL: This adds the URL to the Todo list for crawling.
Remove URL: This removes the URL from all tables.
The percent sign can be used as a wildcard to remove batches of URLs.
Example: http://www.domain.com/%
The above example will remove all URLs beginning with http://www.domain.com/.
Table & Log Maintenance
This allows you to empty certain (or all) tables. Simply select the table you
would like to empty from the drop-down list and then press the Empty button.
