Administrator Guide: Additional Tags

ALT Tags are image description tags. They are normally shown only when the actual image fails to load or when you put your mouse over the image. They are generally used to describe the image, but are not always used for that purpose. They are sometimes used for keyword spamming by the Webmaster.

Comment Tags are usually less useful with search engines that crawl the Web. They are generally used describe a section of code within the Web page. This feature can be useful to companies that only index their own sites by specifying useful information within the comment tags.
